Once you have depots and vehicles setup, you can add and configure your optional extras. Instead of adding optional extras manually, they are "sychronised" into your dashboard from the reservation system, saving you a lot of time.
Follow the steps below to synchronise the Optional Extras from the reservation system to the Carcloud dashboard:
- Navigate to the staging site.
- In the booking widget, conduct a search using a rate code, a depot, a age range, and a date range where vehicles are available.
- Run the search and select any available car and then go to the Extras page.
Once you have completed this, go to your Carcloud dashboard and select Optional Extras. You should see a list of added Optional Extras, indicated by the "-" or disabled sign. You are now ready to configure the optional extras.
There are three categories of optional extras:
Extra: for things like navigation systems, car seats, airport surcharges etc.
Distance: for distance restrictions.
Coverage: for insurance and damage waivers.
To configure and enable your optional extras, click "Edit" on the far right alongside the extra you want to modify.
